Nature, hiking and biking trails through

Alsterbro-Bäckebo vicinity

Walking path along the Great Hindsjön

The Association Alsterbro-Bäckebo UVG have prepared a walkway along the Great Hindsjön in Alsterbro.

A boardwalk that gives you new outlooks of the lake. There are four seat-places along the way. One of the places is next to  Fröjdekulla Farm's old laundry room, located right by the water. There is a lovely tar-scented bridge around the house, where you can enjoy the evening sun.

A large hexagonal grill hut with seating is situated at lake Hindsjön for those who want to have a barbeque outdoors under a roof. At the parking lot next to the campground, there is a map and tips on what you can do in the area.

Bjällingsmåla nature reserve

Bjällingsmåla is located at Frösekevägen next to Stora Hindsjön and southern Alsterbro. Follow the small road down to the swimming area Sandvik. There you will find an old deciduous forest with oak and other trees. Next to the beach is a sparse pine forest that is easy to walk. The bedrock is calcareous due to very green stone in the area. At the swimming area there is a barbecue.

Length of about 3 km.
